ASTOPAD System - a completely new patient warming system.
The modular structure of the system provides the ideal components for every hospital application (entire theatre area, recovery room, intensive care ward, dialysis department etc.).
- The ASTOPAD DUO control unit heats and controls two heating elements independently of one another.
- One patient can be warmed simultaneously from above and below (theatre, intensive care and haemofiltration). Two patients can be warmed independently of one another by one ASTOPAD DUO control unit with two heating elements (recovery room, intensive care).
- Six different heating elements are available:
ASTOPAD COV heated blankets are very soft and supple and can be used either as underblankets or as top blankets.
ASTOPAD OPT 130 silicone heatable pad for operating tables has proved its value long-term and is sturdy.
- All six heating elements are X-ray-permeable and are controlled by 8 temperature sensors close to the patient.
- All the heating elements can be washed down and disinfected.
Reusable covers or disposable covers are available for the ASTOPAD COV 150 and COV 180 heated blankets.
- Reusable covers are available for all ASTOPAD COV heated blankets.
- Disposable covers are available for the ASTOPAD COV 150 and COV 180 heated blankets.
- The ASTOPAD DUO control unit is characterized by:
- precise temperature setting of 32°C - 39°C; digital, illuminated LCD display of specified and actual temperatures,
- visual and acoustic alarms for insufficient and excessive temperature,
- universal grip for attaching to all infusion stands.
- All six heating elements can be combined with the ASTOGEL gel pad on the operating table as prophylaxis for decubitus.
The ASTOPAD COV heated blankets are placed on the gel pad. The patient is immediately warmed and the gel pad need not be prewarmed. |
